Wonder what it will take for Gonzaga to get over the hump and make a Final Four.
    They've always come up short.
In big games and what have you. They just never complete the drill, it seems.

I think their best chance already passed: Back when they made their best run they were under the radar screen, as were all mid-majors. Now, the so-called elites are all wary of the mid-majors.

For Gonzaga to close the deal, they're simply going to have to be better than their opponent on four gamedays in March. They won't be able to sneak up on anyone.

I think they get to the Final Four this year. But they don't have enough perimeter shooting to win it all.

Or for that matter, free-throw shooting. They have their troubles there, too.

  5. There's no way that they should have allowed Gonzaga to get back in this one. Not at home.

I'd say Memphis chokes in the second round. Don't know why I have that feeling, but I just do.

We'll see. I doubt it, myself. Memphis has more physical talent, from top to bottom, than any other team in the country. That alone normally gets you into the Sweet 16 at the very least.

I just don't see Memphis beating a team that can shoot and match up with them athletically, like a UCLA or Kansas. Let's see what happens when Memphis plays Tennessee, which goes athlete for athlete with the Tigers at 1-4 and has enough bodies to throw at Dorsey, etc., inside, especially with Crews back.

I just don't think Memphis can beat a team it can't run over.

On a side note, THE REAL IRON BOWL begins in one hour on regional television!

Good points all on Memphis. I guess we shall see.

How about Calhoun suspending Dyson and Wiggins indefinitely? Are all the computers accounted for in Storrs?

Neither was dismissed. One had to sit out a season (AJ Price), one half a season (Marcus Williams).
