Austin Peay and SEMO St. tied at 101, going to a third OT on the U.

And I wanted to watch the Missouri St.-Wichita St. game.

Bama down two against Tennessee with exactly three minutes to play. I didn't expect much from this game when it began, but it's been a fun one to watch.

All due respect, great defense with great athletes who can hit the long three is a formula to beat a lot of teams -- including UCLA, Duke, UNC, Georgetown, etc.

As inept of a coach as Mark Gottfried is, if Alabama wasn't the 310th best free throw shooting team in the country, they might just be 5-1 in the SEC instead of 1-5.

That being said, I'll keep watching just to see Senario Hillman dunk.

You didn't miss anything. Both teams were down to about 8 healthy players and looked it. Shockers win their first home conference game and probably have Missouri State's ridiculous fan base apoplectic about some Barry Hinson coaching slight.

I've said it my entire life: if I were a college basketball coach and I had a bad free throw shooting team, the players wouldn't leave the gym after home games.

Need to talk to the media? That's cool. I'll give them 20, you give them 10. Don't worry about taking a shower. Meet me at the free throw line in a half hour. You can go home after every player on this team beats me, best out of 20. And I'll shoot in my suit.

Nothing would piss me off more than a team that couldn't shoot free throws. As Dykes said tonight during the game, free throw shooting is toughness, desire and work ethic. That's it, that's all.

  8. Right prevails in the end, though.

Ten minutes remaining in the first half and St. John's trails Georgetown by an 18-2 deficit.

I think I can be pretty creative. But I swear I'm not making up the following score. At the half, Georgetown leads St. John's 41-14.

    Anybody watching KU @ KSU?

This could end up with a brawl.

Oh...although I am a beaker........M. Beasley is pretty damn good.

He definitely is something else ... hopefully either he or Mr. Rose ends up a Knick in June.
