That layin was with Robin Lopez in his grill, but he should have made it, no question. They are losing these games at the line, plain and simple.

Wazzu is the polar opposite of Memphis. The Tigers are so talented that they have lots of margin for error, while Washington State as absolutely no margin for error. Memphis can afford to miss FTs and the occasional cheapie inside and still win, even against good teams. When Washington State makes those kind of mistakes, it kills them.

    Tennessee is sooooooooo deep.
Tyler Smith and Lofton are hitting 3s
Crews is making his presence felt inside.
At third TV timeout in Starkville, UT up by 4.

MSU has lost 15 of 17 at Fayetteville since the Hogs joined the SEC.
Bud Walton Arena and Vandy's Memorial Gym are always tough to win at for visitors.
Memorial Gym maybe moreso, in State's case.

  6. Indiana State 35, Drake 30 at the half.

At the risk of getting cyber-killed by D-3 Fan, I must say that 1. I'm not the least bit impressed with Drake and 2. the Missouri Valley is much, much worse this year than it has been recently.

  9. True. The Valley is definitely a one-bid league this year, although Drake will change that by losing in the conference tourney.

State cut UTs lead to nine with under 3 mins left.
    Vols should win.
Either way, the Vols are far and away the best, deepest, best-coached team in the conference this season.
They haven't won an SEC Tourney in modern times, but I predict this season they will.
    Great looking ballclub.
