I dunno.

I'm thinking he wants UCLA basketball history to be written Alcindor, Walton, Love.

He has to stay at least three years to do that.

 

Even as a Wazzu guy, I would love to see it. Just a beautiful player.

 

And I went to Arizona State, and I want to see him for four years as well.

He is such a pure fucking basketball player.

 

That was the first time Chase has played defense all night.

 

This is why I hate the Pac-10 schedule, where you play all these Thurs-Sat road swings. Arizona goes down and wins at SC on Thursday, and I think it's simply human nature for them to say, "OK, we got a big road win, we can mail this one in." I think it's really, really hard for them to play their best against UCLA when they know the road trip is already a success by winning at USC.

 

And this is why the Pac 10 is the toughest and the best basketball conference this year and for many others.

The only game in the Pac 10 you can mail in is Oregon State, and that is only when they are at your place.

 

Let's not get carried away. Pac 10 is great this year, but it has very rarely been able to touch the ACC or SEC for depth of quality teams. And Oregon State is a gimme, no matter what.

 

If Barry Stewart has really found his 3-point touch again, Miss State has every piece (except maybe a floor coach) to make a nice March run. Varnado/Rhodes and of course Gordon are an awesome top trio.

 

Hawkeyes played well at home, played better defense, and shot the ball well.

A nice win for Iowa.
