Ginyard and Thomas stepped up with Lawson out, but Ellington and Green are going to have to start scoring again even when Lawson is back if this team is going to go far in the tourney.

The Bracket Buster games were announced today.

Evansville travels to Eastern Illinois for the Holy Shit These Guys are Fuckin' Terrible Bowl.

Actually, the TV games were announced Monday ... marquee games are Drake at Butler and UW-Milwaukee at Bradley.

OK, the second one ... maybe not so much.

Drake should have been given a home game.

  6. BracketBuster predetermines that for all 100 teams involved. Drake was listed as a road team, with Butler being a home team (that came out in September). ESPN picks and chooses from there.

The good news for Drake is now it will definitely play Butler at home next season (teams in a BracketBuster game have to have a rematch at the opposite site the next season).

Some of the "BracketBuster" games make you wonder which brackets are being busted. That third tournament that's even lower than the NIT?

  8. The setup is pretty silly. There are so many teams involved now just to make sure ESPN gets some decent games. One of the "BracketBuster" games is UT-Martin at Elon. Those two get to play again next year. You can feel the excitement building already...

BracketBusters has sent me to Buffalo, N.Y., and in the near future, Murray, Ky.

    Eat a dick, ESPN.

(Congrats OTR on the Aces p'wning the Shockers. You're back in a tie for last!)

Hate to say it Gutter, but Bradley will smoke UWM.

Murray? That's awesome, Bubbs. Don't take any sharp glass with you, because you'll have a strong urge to cut yourself.

Have fun buying a drink in Murray. Oh wait, you can't.

  12. Why couldn't these teams just, you know, play each other, without ESPN slapping a logo on the games and giving us a faux "Selection Sunday" in the middle of the farking season?
    Oh, wait, I know why.
    Never mind.
