I've wondered several times the past few years why Bob McKillop is still at Davidson.

    And I've got ... nothing.

    He's old, I guess.

He's a little full of himself, and he can rub people the wrong way, but the man is an out-fucking-standing basketball coach. Davidson has been a tough out since he's been there, and with Curry, those guys might be a legitimate top 25 team.

This Utah-Washington game is mildly entertaining.

Too bad Brockman isn't three inches taller. The guy would be in the NBA in a couple years if that were the case.

That's what every major D-I program that didn't offer him thought.

Just saw a first on the Utah-Washington game.

A Utah dude was shooting the first of two free throws and the ball bounced off the front rim, to the side and lodged itself between the backboard and the rim. Brockman had to jump up and knock it down.

I've seen that happen when dudes take jumpers; never on a free throw, though.

    I know; I'm easily amused.

So Ronald Curry finally lived up to the hype?

Why did Gregg Marshall stay at Winthrop for nine years?!

Same reason - almost - McKillop is still at Davidson, now in season 19.
The almost is that Davidson works well with Bob ... the academic standards are crazy high and graduates his kids.

  8. And Bobby McK is probably the best guy coaching in college basketball.

Brockman finishes with 31 and 18, most of which were put up against Utah's 7-footer, Luke Nevill.

    Impressive performance.

To watch Brockman regularly is to love him. Nobody works harder.

If he were three inches taller, he'd be in the NBA a couple of years ago.

Think the luster's worn off in Lubbock yet?
