Been a Wazzu fan for too long to actually expect a win tonight, but it would not shock me. They'll be pissed off, the weather in Pullman is freaking horrendous and everybody has them written off. It's the kind of game they win inexplicably.

When I was in middle school, the varsity played Paul Wight's team. The yearbook photographer shot that game, so in my 6th grade yearbook, there's the Giant with a crew cut and in late 80s short shorts, blocking out. Our coach said he could barely palm the ball, his fingers were so stubby. I saw him play a game at WSU and wrestling suits him better.

Wow, what a night of hoops. First Pitt hits a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to beat WV and Xavier gets a tip in at the buzzer to defeat St. Louis. And there's 3 seconds left in a tie game between Indiana and the Illini.

 

That was some great free-throw shooting down the stretch in the first OT.
