I am an admitted Wazzu fanboy looser apologist, but a year ago they got every break and were shitting gold cufflinks. This year -- at least in conference -- they cannot get a bounce. It's the nature of the game, but not much damn fun.

Bottom line, though -- UCLA is just better.

On a side note, Stanford looks like a freaking 2 seed.

This sucks. They have another tough matchup Saturday with USC.
And yes Stanford suddenly looks damn good, they killed Oregon tonight.

 

Wazzu is looking like a freaking bubble team right now, crazy as that is. They are now 5-5, with SC coming in hot and only one sure win left and even OSU has been tough on them in Corvallis. Welcome to the new Pac-10.

Also, the more I drink during games, the more I think Marques Johnson sounds like Jackie Chiles.

Seriously, Drake's a great story. How does Drake keep Keno Davis around? He will have suitors. I've talked with him a few times, he's a good guy. Whoever gets him is going to be happy.
