LSU aspires to set basketball back decades with all those athletes on defense and NO guards with any offensive skill.

 

Even at 6-of-12 shooting for 13 points, I'm seeing a lot of good prowess from OJ Mayo.
The rest of USC lacks considerably.
At least today.
And I'm not sold on Wazzu going very far in the NCAAs
But, we'll all see for ourselves soon enough.

Mayo's gonna be a great pro, I think.

 

Wazzu probably won't make it out of the first weekend, assuming they even make the tournament.

Wazzu has for sure got the Princeton thing going on.
Lots of good passing and cutting, great ball movement.

But I think they might get out-athleted come tourney time.

Bad week for pricks: Bob Knight quits, John Brady gets shit-canned and Tim Floyd gets run against Wazzu.

Wazzu actually played well in the losses to Stanford and UCLA. We'll see how it goes, but they still have Sweet 16 potential, but not much else.

 

Wazzu breathing new life into its seeding. Huge win. And Texas with a near-miss at Iowa State. Texas is talented, but not a team I would expect to see go any further than the Sweet 16.
