sportschick, consider me very naive when I say this, but I didn't know Royce coached at Indy prior to coaching at Terre Haute. I always thought he was there for a long time after Hodges left. He recruited a local kid, Nate Green, to play at ISU.

Glad to know that he's coaching again. ;D

  2. How can anyone forget the Ron Greene era?

I have to wonder how the Clemson-UNC game would have turned out if the Tigers pressed the entire second half. They built the big first-half lead thanks in part to killing the Tar Heels with their press. For whatever reason, Purnell called it off for most of the second half.

    It's real nice.

And God knows, there are enough good places to drink, in that town.

I have a PhD in obscenties, but I learned even more from Royce when I had a front row seat at Indiana State. He is missed.

Two things on the Nova-Gtown game:

    1. Nova lost on the worst call in the history of basketball.

    2. Sean McDonough is insufferable. He needs to go away.

The Rutgers women and Nova men got absolutely jobbed tonight.

You must not have seen the end of the rutgers-tennessee women's game then. The clock operator at tennessee will be fired in 24 hours. guaranteed.

I didn't see the Rutgers call. If it was worse than a touch foul 80 feet from the basket with 0.1 seconds left, I feel sorry for the Scarlet Knights.

I concur on Nova-Georgetown. Worst call I've ever seen in a college game. I commend Jay Wright for not going completely berserk.

the clock operator somehow stopped the clock with .2 seconds left, and in the second that it stayed off, tennessee got a last rebound and was fouled. 2 FTs converted to win by one.

Another question for the NCAA committee ... with Villanova getting screwed over horribly twice by bad officiating (NC State and, apparently, tonight) ... do you take that into consideration?
