24 fucking fouls alone in the second half...

Wonder what'll happen if these two teams meet in the SEC tourney?

It's Mrs. Tubby Smith and Rosie who are giggling like school girls.

Depends on where the game is played.

At UK, the cats lose by 50+.

At Drake, the cats lose by maybe 30.

Kentucky will win, just because it's the SEC tournament. Kentucky loses in that tournament as often as Mike gets laid.

Anyone think the 'Cats will have a problem with hanging an inaugural CBI (College Basketball Invitational) banner up this year? Because if they come out like this again, the NIT is even a long shot.

I don't think the Arkansas guards have the ball handling skills to make a deep run in the tournament. I hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see it happening with Gary Ervin getting significant PT. He can be exciting, but I can't wait for the day the guy graduates. I can't tell you how many times I've seen Ervin drive full speed into the paint to run into 2 or 3 big guys and realize he can't do anything so he jacks up a wild shot that either gets blocked or has no chance of going in.

Sonny Weems is the key to Arkansas success for the rest of the season. In their recent run, the guy has been playing extremely well. The guy is a decent shooter and an excellent slasher.

I don't know what to expect with regards to the Tennessee game. There are still four significant players left from the team that went to Knoxville and beat TN a couple of seasons ago. All big men. Townes, Thomas, Hill, and Hunter. Arkansas has the talent to hang with UT, but this is still a team that has lost to Providence and Appalachian State on neutral courts and lost to Georgia on the road. The guard play is what scares me. Last year, Arkansas could barely inbound the ball against UT in the second half...it was an embarrassment. I'm just not sure that I trust Welsh and Ervin to handle being pressed for the whole game.

I think it's on the Kelvin Sampson thread. But if not, Bob Knight is laughing his ass off right now.

Sampson is such a sleeze, he's up there with Calipari in terms of underhandedness.

The scary thing is, Sampson was president of the basketball coaches' association just a few years ago.

Up there with Calipari? Sampson's on a whole other level dude.

It took Sampson a year at Indiana to get in trouble with the NCAA. To my knowledge, Cal's never had any violations pinned to him. You have to be pretty egregious with your cheating to get in the kind of hot water Sampson's in right now.
