This team could not beat VCU (sorry Moddy) last year, but K retools in the offseason and now they are 20-1 or in that area.

He is just an amazing coach. To be able to reconfigure the offense to suit the players you have is something many coaches cannot or will not attempt.

Hell of a job. It will be tough to choose a D-I coach of the year.

If I remember correctly, that run was vacated because Camby had made illegal contact with an agent prior to the tournament, not because of any wrongdoing on Calipari's part.

I could be wrong though, especially since I'm entirely too lazy to look it up.

Coach K can suck it, but the reason Dook is much better this year is because McRoberts is GONE

    You are right about that.

UNC hated to see him go.

I anticipated a tough roadie and I could be right on Woof Woof Woof possibly going down in Carbondale. 28-23 SIU late in the first half.

SIU is 57-1 vs. MVC opponents in Carbondale. The Fighting Dana Altmans couldn't buy a win in the house that Clyde Frazier built and Rich Herring perfected.

The streak's over for Woof Woof Woof! SIU wins, 65-62, over the Bulldogs. The roadie continues to Cedar Falls on Saturday, then Springfield, Evansville, and Butler for Bracket Busters.
8)Not bitter that they lost, but hardly anyone wins down at SIU.

    Fear Wayne Kreklow bitches...

The inevitable "new coach rallying a struggling team" phenomenon has officially surfaced in Baton Rouge. LSU almost beat Tennessee at home Saturday and beat Florida 85-73 in the O-Dome tonight.

When you watch the talent LSU puts on the floor (just without a point guard), it makes you irritated at John Brady.

And, as expected, Pelphrey's Hogs shit themselves on the road again tonight, losing 93-71 in Knoxville despite holding Lofton to six points. That team is so talented ... it's a shame it will be lucky to advance past the first round of the NCAA tournament,

They don't have a capable ball handler. It's that simple. If you find a slightly above average ball handler and put them on the Razorbacks, they are dominant.

They might not be dominant, but they'd be a Sweet Sixteen team, for sure. LSU's guard situation is even worse, though.
