I agree, but it's also that style of play that has helped prepare them for the NCAA tournament the last couple of years. Talent-wise, there's no way the Bruins should've been to back-to-back Final Fours, but they prepared all season for tough, grind-it-out basketball, which is exactly the style that is played in the tourney. Teams that run-and-gun all season are ill-prepared to compete in the tournament, when things get tough.

I have a feeling Love will stay for all four years, and that puts my Sun Devils stuck in second at best.

Love is phenomenal. He's just covered in baby fat and looks like a taller (and MUCH BETTER) version of that YMCA guy, sans tats.

 

Stranger things have happened, I suppose, but just about everybody is projecting him as one-and-done ... middle of the first round at worst and it's not like the pros haven't seen him play against top-level competition.

 

If he does, I would love to see him go to the Suns and set screens for Nash and rifle outlet passes.

That St. Mary's court looks like a high school gym. Down goes Oregon. The Pac-10 is struggling a bit early on.

 

Shooting free throws with a medicine ball does not seem to be paying off for that kid.

 

I loved the Gonzaga road games in the WCC on television; you used to get to see all the old gyms in that league. USD and Santa Clara have sent theirs packing, which is a shame. Go Gaels.
