They were rubber-legged from that tournament in Orlando in which N.C. State played three games in four days. Shooting less than 22 percent in the first half - and not bulking up the number of shots with offensive boards - pretty much spelled that out.

Those facts aside, the offense was non-existant and disjointed. Was it fatigue? Was it the Breslin Center? Was it Michigan State? Who knows?

I guess we'll find out if Sidney Lowe learned anything from that blasting. He did last year, and that's why NCSU made to the finals of the ACC Tournament and hung around in the NIT for a while. mOf course, NCSU is off for more than a week before facing East Carolina in Greenville (where Winthrop easily won Wednesday night). :-\

 

Couple of quality games tonight that slipped through the cracks thanks to the GB-Dallas game.

Gonzaga with an OT victory at St. Joe's. Few once again showing he has no problem playing anyone, anywhere.

Also, Oregon picking up what looks like will be a quality win come tournament time at Kansas State.
