No, but that would be nice (for LSU). Prep All-American Jonathan Crompton running the show. Kid is loaded with talent, but damn, he's a freshman, and LSU's defense is good.

Where would a Les Miles-coached team be without that defense???

Oz, I have to disagree. The way you're supposed to play is to take every advantage possible for your team within the rules. The people you should be pissed at are the ones who left such a loophole in place. Truly awful.

I don't know why it's the case, but I have long believed Clemson gets more bullshit calls in its favor at home than just about any team in the country. The ACC even quietly suspended one of its officials a few years ago for a horseshit pass interference call in Clemson's favor in the final seconds of a game the Tigers won.

This year is typical Clemson, though. Today they were favored by 19, with their obnoxious fans still crowing about how they were still the best team in the ACC (despite the turd against VT) and yet they can't score a touchdown at home against a team that could have given up 60 easily to West Virginia. Tommy Bowden has gone from being underrated, to overrated, to underrated again, to overrated again in a span of about two years.

Another Mississippi team (Rebels) came to T-Town a while back and whipped the Tiders.
A Bama fan tossed a brick through then-coach Bill Curry's office window just hours after the game was over.
Bama people have to deal with these sorts of things from time to time.

But that was then. Now we're a gymnastics school.

I agree Bubbler, considering what they were up against.

I heard that before the game, Michigan's defensive line counted to infinity. Twice.

Also, in case you have not heard, Troy Smith is so fast, he once built a snowman out of rain.

So this trumps any of Whitlock's accomplishments? Wow. :D

  10. Rick Minter will be looking for a new job after the season. ND defense shredded by a bad, awful, Alabama-like North Carolina. :)

Shame that Georgia played South Carolina earlier in the year, the Cocks would roll this team now.

Dawgs finish up at Auburn and against Ga. Tech. Can anybody say 6-6?

Meanwhile, Kentucky now has a great chance for seven wins.

IIRC, this is the first time Kentucky has beaten one of the big three (Ga., Fla., Tenn) in 20 years.
