Unless that rushing defense gets a lot better, K-State won't have an easy time next week with U-La-La, which returns its best running back and a QB who can really run. A 1-4 start isn't too far fetched.

Before we get too nuts, lets remember NDSU wasn't facing last year's Kansas State. This year's model wasn't ranked and may not be appreciably better than UConn.

Then start a fucking thread and discuss it there. Keep your cyber diarrhea off of the game threads.

They're at least a middle-of-the-pack Mountain West team and they could probably win the Sun Belt. Kansas State usually schedules smarter than that.

Colin Klein carried last year's K-State team quite a bit further than it should have gone. Waters showed a strong arm, but the interceptions kind of looked like he might be another Josh Freeman, which isn't necessarily a good thing for Wildcat fans. I'm reading a lot into one game though.

What I'd be awfully concerned about if I was a K-State fan was how the defense players acted like they didn't think they had a chance in hell of stopping NDSU on that last drive.

Carl Pelini called for a QB spike -- on fourth down.

North Dakota State has more FBS wins than Kansas since the start of the 2011 season.

122 combined passing attempts in Texas Techs 41-23 victory over SMU.
Blast to watch, and even better seeing a confused looking Hal Mumme coaching on SMU staff.

The body language said it all, didn't it? NDSU knew they were going to score, and K-State knew they weren't going to stop them.

Anybody else like VT at +20?

With McCarron's toe issue, I don't see him playing much into the second half. That thing gets stepped on one time and he could be out for a couple of weeks, and I don't see Saban risking that.

No, the Hokies have been decimated by injuries in recent days and weeks.

    Tide 47-6.

They said earlier that Va Tech had 27 redshirt or true freshmen on their 75-man travel roster. No way this one is close.
