I thought you were making a counterpoint. That's the tone I read it in, thus, my response. I think you could have made your point more clearly, but WTF. I agree with you that NFL flex-sked thing is worse. The NFL has no regard for its fans whatsoever. Colleges need their fans, but they need TV more.

The unannounced start times are worse/more widespread for college than they are for the NFL.

Out here in Pac-12 country, the only way you know a conference game start time going into the season is if it's a Thursday or Friday night game. Saturday games could start anywhere between 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., and if you've got to travel a few hours, it makes it really tough to commit to season tickets.

If your team is shitty in the Midwest, it's almost always an 11 am kickoff on ESPN7. The Pam Ward Game.

No worries about sellouts or moving kickoff.

Sorry. I was wrong. But it doesn't matter. No minds will be changed here. G'day.

Chickens survive a million mistakes to win 17-13. UCF gagging one away to Florida Intl.

Make that gagged. FIU blocks a field goal to win 15-14.

September college football games at a neutral site is like having sex in a car.

Sure it's sex but the atmosphere is lacking and only half the seats are occupied.

On back-t0-back throws, Rudock showed why Iowa benched him. Second overthrown pass on the night that would have been a Michigan TD, then follows it with an ugly INT.

Georgia Tech made Alcorn State, an FCS team but a halfway-decent one at least, look like Cumberland College tonight.
Nine rushing touchdowns by six different players, 476 rushing yards and only five passes thrown (three of which were on one touchdown drive) in a 69-6 win.
Only the fourth time since 1921 (all have come this century) that Georgia Tech scored at least 69 in a game.
