    Random thoughts, with amraeder:
Curious to see how A&M does this year. I think wouldn't be surprised by anything between, like, 11-1 and 7-5. If what has been a really young D comes together, seems like they could be REALLY good.

Good call. Like most SEC homers, I always forget about Mizzou.

Plus the fact they can't tell you what time the game starts until maybe 7-10 days before, in a lot of instances, because of TV scheduling. So you can't plan ahead. I have a USC season ticket to go with a friend this season. Starting times for six of the 12 games were announced a month or so ago. The other six are still unannounced. Trying planning ahead for that. You basically have to devote the whole day unless you can work in some last-minute plans.
I was imagining a college ticket seller calling people.
"Hi, I'm Chase from (your alma mater). We're selling tickets for the Oct. 27 game against (your rival). Would you like to go?"
"Yes, I think I might. But I have something else to do that day. What time does the game start?"
    "Uh, we don't know."

To be fair, the NFL can also change starts with flextime.

Oh, OK, because the NFL does it that makes it all right.
Point is, you basically have to devote the whole day to go to a game.

That wasn't my point. That wasn't even approaching being near my point. You complained that college games can't tell you when a game starts and my point was it's not just college that does this. The NFL will set a fucking time then say "hey, ya know, we know we said we would start at 4, but this is a bigger game than we expected so, fuck you, it's 8 p.m. now."

If you're gonna' bitch about college football bitch about both. What the NFL does is even more egregious because you make plans around a certain time only to have it changed.

But ... this is a college football thread. With all the non-conference bitching, we don't need extra bitching. That is just too much bitching. Or maybe I'm just bitching.

For a decent game, with tickets I can afford, I don't mind that. But to watch Owensboro School of Trucking and Beauty 3x a year in non-conference? Pass.

That's insightful. Were you waving a banner when you posted this?

I like Utah tonight, but I liked it more when it was at -4.5 earlier in the week. I also like Colorado -7.5 and I'm tempted by Minnesota +17 at home.

Minnesota +17 is tempting, too. Is the over-under less than 100?
