It took almost two years, but Clemson is back.

Was at the Clemson game last week vs. Syracuse. I like to think the Orangemen softened them up.

LSU may have a horseshit qb, but he just threw a whale of a block for Fournette.

cyclingwriter, that is as good a theory as any. I figured Pitt would be able to score points on them, but never imagined that game would even be close. Pitt now has wins over two teams in the top 10 (with Penn State in there now). WTF?

I'm not convinced he's actually capable of enjoying it when Pitt does well. :D

I tentatively agree, but they are a damn good team. With Clemson losing, the Big 10 (refuse to use new name) could be the conference with two bids even if Michigan does lose to Ohio State.

Out of the five ranked teams the ACC brought into this weekend, three have already lost and scoreless Louisville just fumbled away to Wake Forest.

I suspect the Michigan-OSU game will be 'no do-overs' like it was in 2006 (when it was also at the Shoe).

Clemson can — and probably will — still get in the playoff if it wins out (Wake Forest, South Carolina, probably Va Tech).

And Auburn's loss means Alabama can probably still get in even if it loses the Iron Bowl or the SEC championship game.

So, not as much chaos as you might think.

If Team A loses to Pitt at home and Team B loses to Ohio State on the road, I know which one I'm picking.

If Team A is a conference champion and Team B is not, the committee will probably choose Team A.
