I highly doubt the committee will allow for any possible Michigan-Ohio State do-over, but if they didn't, I'd be perfectly happy with Michigan playing in the Rose Bowl. That said, they played the Buffs in Ann Arbor this year, so the people who are in charge of that might want to avoid that rematch too, assuming U-Dub makes the playoff.

Does a Big Ten third-place team go to the Granddaddy if they lose two to the playoff? I don't know if they've even covered that scenario.

Only one team in the Pac 12 beat both Washington and Colorado, both on the road.

USC beat Colorado at the Coliseum. But your point stands.

Right, beat them in the Coloseum. LOL. Anyway, I was wrong on that. Good catch.

I know it won't happen, but I think those are the four best teams in the country right now.

I agree. And any of those teams can beat Alabama, which has really been untested thus far. LSU gave them a decent game, but there's a lot of holes in that offense. Few in the defense, granted, but the running game lacks consistency of any degree.

We talking right now? Then USC is one of the 4 best teams right now.

I definitely think they are in the conversation, maybe even the first team out, but the fact that they were thoroughly destroyed by a team already in the top four makes me hesitate to put them in there.

I'm not saying put them in. Just saying they're one of the 4 best.

They screwed up in September, so they are not deserving of January.
