Of course and it's a shame because Milton is a great player, there's no question about that, but that team is much more than that. They have a deep backfield and a very good offensive line. They are strong on the defensive line. They have explosive talent on both sides of the ball.

I watched only the last 25 minutes of Va.-VT; I can't imagine putting up with that for an entire season.

    How about 15 seasons?

The house where I was watching was overwhelmingly UVa. I told them that they were in trouble when the Hoos ran three times and settled for a field goal after that interception. One first down wins the damn game. It was pathetic to watch. I feel for you, Cav fans.

It was plainly obvious the way things were going to end as soon as they stopped running real plays. Preparing for rivalry games seems to be a Bronco issue dating back to BYU, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see the streak hit 20.

Ohio St. scores with contemptuous ease on its first drive. Easy money here. Speaking of coaches who have trouble with big rivalry games, Jim Harbaugh's way up there. Same thing as the opener with Notre Dame. Tough opponent, on the road and his team is unprepared to start.

And on top of that, the vast majority of viewers had no idea they were even doing it.

In my household I'm the only one who knew the yard markers were being superimposed.

I made my post too early. That was a strong finish.

One more thing and then I’ll shut up: Dax Hollifield from VT is truly an unprecedented asshole. On the play on UVA’s first drive where Perkins was yanked down hard by his facemask (not called) and came up limping, Hollifield was jumping up and down, screaming at him and pointing at the sideline. In 30 years of watching football, I have never seen a player behave like that - college, pro or high school.

and the Shit-for-brains announcers talked about “well, you can see it’s an intense rivalry...”

Michigan has 4th and 2 at the Ohio St. 42. Harbaugh, not unreasonably, wants to go for it. Line up, don't like the play, time out. Line up again, not one but two linemen false start. Punt, Ohio St. promptly drives for a TD. Michigan doesn't play like a well coached team when it matters.

Urban Meyer just got hit with a 15-yard penalty after Michigan got away with hitting a sliding Dwayne Haskins
Urbz feels better after the next play, an obvious interference on Michigan
Two passes later, it’s 21-6 Buckeyes
