COVID-19 at University of Iowa: Student tests positive, laments experience

Without football to worry about you would think Iowa would have more time to provide proper a environment for the students that test positive.

 

I really hope the pollsters follow their typical form and just keep moving teams up as long as they don't lose.

 

As a parent of two college students out here in the west, it's clear to me that universities are only attempting in-person classes for monetary reasons — both for the university itself and the businesses that surround it.

And as an Iowa alum, I enjoyed the P-C's photo galleries. The Fieldhouse bar has been a super-spreader of virus and disease for a long time!

 

Because we gotta have footbawwwl. Unbelievable.

 

Upon further review, Mississippi is just weird right now. In four of the past seven days, they have reported only the positives. If history holds, we're going to see a couple of days with massive test totals and a comparable number of positives. The larger point still holds. The virus that their leaders have denied for months is still raging. Now their guvnuh has even delayed the opening of the guvmint schools until Aug. 31. #CuckAlert

 

Worse, you have - as the head coaches at the main schools - Lane Kiffin and Mike Leach. This will end well, right?

Funny how you don't see this on the Maven's Wolfpack site. Plenty of stuff about how some offensive guard has the Pack in his top six, though.

 

Walt Maddox, the mayor of Tuscaloosa, closed the bars other than table service with food. You should see the comments sections. The Trumpists/bammers are calling that poor man everything but a child of God.
