This is a truly wretched lede. It implies that Hubbard has quit the team. He has not. He said he won't participate in team activities "until things change."

STILLWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State star running back Chuba Hubbard said he will no longer participate in Cowboys activities due to a photo of head coach Mike Gundy wearing a T-shirt of a far-right TV channel.

The Mullet of the Great Plains seems to think he's bulletproof because everybody thinks the Pokes are actually going to be relevant in 2020. The optimism is based on the assumption that Hubbard will be on the field.

Oklahoma State declines comment. That's notable. They're not telling people off the record, "Hang on. We're working on a statement." They're outright saying they have nothing. I think that speaks to how thorny this thing is. I'm not sure what I'd do if I were in their boots.

My prediction: Gundy flip-flops faster than the fans at Hickory once Jimmy Chitwood announced he would play as long as Norman Dale stayed.

What's he going to flop to? A commitment to watch other news networks?

If I'm Hubbard, I craft a couple tweets that lay out his concerns beyond the t-shirt. Knowing Gundy, I'm sure they exist.

Chuba Hubbard Responds to Twitter Message that Shows Gundy Wearing an OAN T-Shirt
Under the SI banner, we have Pokes Report. Here's a summary for those who don't want to read: It's homer garbage populated with errors in grammar, style and accuracy. It wastes no time in screwing up, following up a sentence fragment with a reference to someone named "Gundy" without title or first name on first reference.

STILLWATER -- Waiting for the proverbial poop to hit the fan during the summer and it did. A writer for a website that covers Oklahoma State and has been fairly consistent in criticizing Gundy

Doyle left today and Iowa paid out $1.1 million for him to go away and not sue them.

Iowa actually comes out of this a long-term winner. Ferentz will stay but the talk about his son saying this, in a racial manner, means that Iowa do what Kansas State was able to pull itself away from. The coach turning it over to his son.

He'll put out a statement of apology for watching a propaganda channel.

The Mullet of the Plains referred to COVID-19 as "the China virus." That's a start in proving his issues beyond the wearing of a t-shirt.

Just saw this referenced somewhere about Gundy and the choice of T-shirts ...

When it was a contractor wearing an OU shirt who came to Gundy's house to work on remodeling, T-shirts really fucking mattered. Now will Gundy/OSU say that T-shirts don't really matter?

Carpenter files suit: Gundy fired me for OU shirt

Throughout the years, I think the only undisputed fact is that Gundy is a fucking clown.

He’ll just say something along the lines of the T-shirt was some swag that coaches get from time to time and he didn’t know the backstory. Yeah, right.

I've never really seen OAN. How far right of Fox News is it?
