After this I wonder now if Dabo could lured to Tuscaloosa after Saban retires. I’m thinking no.

When was the last time Alabama took a beating like this?

They lost at Arkansas 42-6 in 1998 in the DuBose era.

If this score stands, it will be the Fighting Wallaces' most lopsided loss since the Hokies beat them 38-7 in the Music City Bowl on Dec. 29, 1998. Before then, you've probably got to go back to June 11, 1963.

Other than in most Top 50 rankings among states?
This will make Saban 142-21 at Alabama. It'll be his fifth loss by more than seven points, and first since the 2013 Sugar Bowl against Oklahoma.
In terms of the tone of the beating, either that game or the infamous 2008 Sugar Bowl against Utah would have to be it.

The egg laid in New Orleans against Utah is the last time I recall Alabama getting hammered like this.

On the one hand, just how special is that Clemson team? I mean, damn

On the other, Bama got exposed a few times (Citadel, Georgia) how bad was everyone else that they couldn't exploit Bama's flaws?

    My favorite:

    1995: Peyton Mannings 41, Red-faced Tide 14.

Saban coached three bowl games at Michigan State, losing 45-26, 51-23 and 38-0. Of course, each time he was furiously trying to jump his contract.
