College football bowl thread: Days of Signs and Roses

Yeah, and the announcers seemed amazed that it was such a pro-Tech crowd. Apparently forgetting that about 1/3 of Tech's student body is from NoVa, less than two hours away from Annapolis.

Miserable conditions.

 

The announcers on this Duke’s bowl are all in on the mayonnaise references. Guess they know what side their bread is mayo’d on.

 

I denounce this.

 

Beth Mowins + anything = unwatchable.

 

Matt Berrie and Dan Mullen are very good together.
They just had Berrie eat part of a Krispy Kreme doughnut with Dukes Bourbon Brown Sugar mustard on it.
I don’t think he was real impressed. “This booth is going to reek!!!”

 

Thank Christ for the Holiday Bowl to spare me from that postgame abomination ahead in Charlotte.

Gus has all the enthusiasm of a root canal thus far.

 

Sounds much like the duo that did the Hawaii Bowl. Brutal would be a compliment. The color guy kept misprouncing the name of SJSU's quarterback, even after apologizing on the air for his error. Lawrence Fan weeps.
