    Happy for Mizzou ... those of that ilk of my acquaintance seem (with a few exceptions) like awfully nice people. Only Buckeye type I know: 1) wears an ankle monitor because he's a repeat sexual offender; and 2) cheats at golf.

    Historically cotton was a major cash crop in my area, but farmers soon found that wheat, corn and milo (sorghum for livestock feed) were much more profitable.

    The farmer a half-block south of my house experimented with cotton a few years ago and found it not profitable enough with all the weevil abatement regulations. His field had corn this summer and will be planting winter wheat if he hasn't already..

    That wasn’t even football.
    Thank Heavens Jerruh and Co. rolled out the jv field for that disaster tonight, because that’s about what that was.
