College football bowl thread: Days of Signs and Roses

Increasingly sports is just an opportunity for people to complain about stuff they really don't care about.

The Rose Bowl in the late afternoon is absolutely one of the greatest things the sport has going for it. So, people act like they hate it.

 

Carved that D up like a Thanksgiving turkey. Blew 'Bama off the line.

We might actually get a game worth watching. Good start.

 

Wait, people complain about a 5 p.m. start? Why?

 

Ask again when the fourth quarter of the Sugar Bowl goes into Jan. 2.

 

Just a reminder that Michigan hasn’t won an uncontested national championship in CFB since 1947 and remains the most overrated big name program in the country, and that includes Notre Dame who people outside South Bend at least now recognize as title-contending frauds.

 

It will be well after midnight (est) before the Sugar Bowl is done tonight. Maybe 1.

 

I’ll be counting parts in a warehouse for inventory 50 feet in the air on a scissor lift. Everybody else can shut the fuck up and have another beer.
