Heck, even when Pete Golding was dialing up good defenses and winning national championships, Saban still trashed him.

I know someone will wax poetic about a 10-7 slugfest in the 1950s, but this has to be close to Texas-USC (BCS NC) for the best Rose Bowl ever, doesn’t it?

Michigan State beat UCLA on a last play field goal... But that was in the 50s.

Recency bias, but there have been so many epic games in the Arroyo on NYD. This certainly ranks up there.

The sloppiness might take it down a notch.

    But then, I'm a fan of Super Bowl V, so . . .

We were asking, "Does anyone want to win this game" an hour ago.

    96,371 for today's sunset.

Largest Rose Bowl crowd since 101,219 for Michigan-Washington State in 1998.

Good start for UW, but they better keep their foot on the gas pedal. Not as much defense in this game.

USC-Wisconsin in 1963. Lots of great Rose Bowls.

He’s going to fall out of a 6th-floor window of the Beverly Wilshire.

I'm not sure whatever Boudreaux running the scoreboard is going to be able to count this high.

This would have been a great year for an 8-team playoff. Georgia and Oregon are as good as any of the final four teams.
