He said in the on-field interview that Dart went rogue and checked into a pass on his own.
Reporter didn't ask about running the hurry-up offense to throw another deep ball on the last play, though.

Harder for the starting quarterback to go rogue if he’s safely on the bench protecting his earning potential after putting the game to bed handily.

One of my favorite geography factoids is that Charlotte is seventh among NFL Stadiums in altitude. At 751 feet.
Perhaps more bizarre: No. 4 is Kansas City.

So we all agree that Kellanova, the spinoff corporate entity once known as Kellogg's, is the biggest winner of the Lesser Bowl Brand Identity Enhancement sweepstakes with the marketing of the Pop Tarts Bowl. Duke's Mayo, of which I had heard nothing before it took over naming rights to the Charlotte bowl, has to be No. 2 on this list.

Until the Rockies and Diamondbacks came along, wasn't Atlanta the highest MLB stadium?

The ACC, which we were told would take off in football with the addition of Va Tech and Miami 20 years ago, drops to 2-10 in bowl games this cycle.
From 2004-present, the ACC is 81-110 (.4241) in bowls and CFP play. Only the MAC (38-71, .3486) has been worse in that span.

I sure wish there were more promotional ads in the Mayo Bowl ... said no one ever. Almost as annoying as the inordinate number of commercial breaks in the Rose Bowl. Seems like they went to commercial after every single change in possession.

Flavor Flav as the guest "celebrity" mascot. Good on him for doing it, looked like he had fun, but he's about D level as far as celebutards go, isn't he?
