    Don't forget the throwed rolls.

In addition to mayonnaise not being healthy, I just don't like it. So it was hard to watch that game when my stomach churned with every promo. I stopped watching right after the banana-mayo sandwich, and that was the first one. Analyst pretended to like it, but the play-by-play guy missed the next play because he couldn't swallow what he bit into.

When Berrie did the ice cream/mayo……the Vodka/Cranberry I’d been drinking almost came back up.

I stopped watching that game a couple of years ago precisely because I cannot handle watching all of the mayo-based hijinks. If Alabama ever gets kicked down to that game (and assuming the locals haven’t burned down the whole state) I’ll be catching it on radio only.

The thinking way back was that Miami and Florida State would be playing for the title every year. And they never met once (of course, Miami only played for the title once).

Then again, in the early 90s I thought Tennessee and Alabama would be playing for the SEC title a few times. Got half that right.

And Duke's is a regional brand, no? Out here, it's bring out the Best Foods or the store brand.

It’s southern, but huge. people don’t put mayo on something. They put Duke’s on it.

Feels like Duke's is growing. Just moved into our market in the last couple of years, and gotta admit it's damn good.

But the whole schtick during the game was pretty over-the-top. Repeated clips of coaches getting the mayo bath from past games? Yawn.

I'm surely in the minority, but I don't think the Pop Tarts bowl is any better.

This game is usually a SEC vs. ACC matchup, so the sponsorship was a good match for that (back when conferences were vaguely related to geography). I wondered if adding the Big 10 was a sign they were looking to go bigger. Remember when Sonic started doing national ads before even having locations in the northeast or west coast?

Um, the program is in a mediocrity hell cycle now, but Virginia Tech was damn good when it joined the ACC. Won the league four times in its first eight years and finished no worse than third in the standings in any of those seasons. Miami is the one that hasn't brought shit to the table since it joined.
