While the mayo in my fridge is Duke's (along with a bottle of their bbq sauce), I preferred the Charlotte game when it was the Belk Bowl. "Modern Southern Style"

Nothing will ever top the kid from Arkansas who got arrested after shoplifting on the Belk free shopping trip he got as part of his Belk Bowl swag.

But the Canes brought attitude. And Q rating. And the young demo.
    Whatever. They have delivered nothing.
The Hokies have been better. No question.

The one “player declaring” graphic worth reading.

The only good thing I read about the Duke's bowl was the chance that Belichick might have a bucket of mayo dumped on his head.

It's looking like Jesus is a UB fan.

Minnesota has won something like seven bowls in a row after last night, and Fleck is undefeated in bowl games with the Gophers.

I heard this on the radio pregame, so it's 8 now -- a school achievement, not Fleck's. Terry Donahue won eight in a row at UCLA in the '80s-'90s -- seven consecutive, then the eighth two years later.

Sadly, college football - especially bowl games - might be going the way of Belk in terms of quality and what it once was.

My children stare at me like I’m an idiot whenever I still call it Parks-Belk. They may not be wrong.
