College football coaches going to the NFL

    So does this mean that the era the coaches came into the league can be correllated with their success? I could see that being the case.

    Other college coaches that jump to mind ...

    -- John Robinson was decent with the Rams.
    -- John McKay was all right with the Bucs.

    Quite true, even though the most a lot of people remember is 0-26 and "I'm all for it."

    Which is still one of my favorite coach quotes. You had to have a sense of humor to have that job at that time.
