Guess that'll teach them to get a conference championship game in place and not leave the committee to make a decision.

    Yeesh.

Typo in my last post, meant 42-28.

OSU, TCU or Baylor, which team has the best chance of beating Alabama? That would have been my criteria for the 4 seed.

Then they would see that they took a QB that began the year No. 3 on the depth chart and won the Big Ten championship game by 14 points. ;D

And if they gave up 28 points in that game, some allowance might be made for the opponent having a Heisman finalist touching the ball 30+ times. But in reality, that team got zero points while tOSU scored 59.

I don't get the TCU got screwed theory. Mostly because it seems to be based on the illogical "the rankings shouldn't change unless someone plays poorly" theory.
If the committee thought that TCU/FSU/OSU were fairly close heading in to yesterday, OSU and FSU improved their resumes with quality wins. It's not that TCU's resume got any worse, just that OSU/FSU's resumes got better with wins over quality teams.

Anyway, I think Baylor has a bigger gripe than TCU.

SMU. Northwestern State. Buffalo. Iowa State.

I have zero sympathy for Baylor.

Meyer vs. Saban will be fun, but Winston vs. Alabama would have been more fun.

I see Oregon putting a 48-24 whipping on FSU.

Bottom line is to smaller schools get fucked while Big State U gets in. In other words, nothing's changed

Well, yeah, that was going to happen anyway. I just figured you go in accepting that.

Had Texas or Oklahoma gone 11-1 with Baylor's schedule, they'd probably be in.

Florida Atlantic, Southern Miss, Western Carolina. Scheduling is a bitch.

The team you're referring to, they weren't going to be left out of the mix if they won their last game. Baylor, there was some doubt.
