Lot of folks seem to think college football's all-time winningest coach may have coached the last game of his 64-year career today.

Hard to be pissed. A&M played a hell of a game and deserved that win.

Season won't be a total loss, as there's always the SEC title game and the Sugar Bowl.

Not over yet. Halftime scores don't count for much.

So you can win, graduate your players, serve as an exemplar of sportsmanship, AND not harbor child rapists. It can be done.

Yep, looks like Oregon is off to the races now. Crisis averted.

You might want to explore that relationship. His family is loaded.

From a talent standpoint, A&M shouldn't play within three scores of Alabama.

Sumlin's been that good. There's a lot of the same players who played for a 2011 A&M team that defined average. He's done the best coaching job in the SEC, by far.

That defense doesn't get any credit at all. Everything's "Johnny Football." He may have put A&M in position to win, but the defense won the game.

Unfortunately it looks like all the bowl slots will get filled. 57 are eligible. 34 still can be.

Another reason there is no need for 30-plus bowl games. Six wins should not be the benchmark to reach the postseason.

post-season? It's a meaningless college football game between third tier teams at 3rd rate sites.

Wanna complain about bowls? Except for college allstar games no bowl game should be played after January 2
