Cal's offensive front is ripping Oregon to shreds, and Tedford starts throwing the ball, down only 31-17. Predictable results. Bridgeford is awful.

Millen spent much of the second half kissing Tedford's butt and making excuses for how awful Cal has become. No excuse for Cal football being this bad.

After a night's sleep and thoughtful analysis, this still sucks.

It wasn't hindsight. I predicted 31-23 Noles. Just joshing you anyway. (And Hopkins would have drilled anything inside 60 to win that one. He's a beast. As much as a college kicker can be a beast.)

I was never as worried about Poindexter not checking in as I am about Versatile now.

Shit, it hasn't even been 24 hours. Let the man grieve.

But 24 hours usually equals about 50 posts, tho.

It takes time to cancel a room and a flight to Miami and book a trip to New Orleans in its place.

Hmmm. So, then who's the UNC-Ashville of college football?

I'll admit that I usually avoid CFB threads for a week after a particularly rough loss for my favorite team.

Fair enough. Definitely not a bet I regret, though. Even more than that, as a VT fan, it was a gut-punch loss. One fourth-down stop away. Just brutal.

Did Thomas meet with the media this week?

Oregon takes over AP No. 1. K-State No. 2 and ND third. The Ducks have the SOS in their favor, but the toughest road for sure. Alabama comes in at No. 4.
