Does anyone really think Indiana is going to beat Wisconsin!?!?!?! I don't mean just cover the spread, I mean actually win the game?

I know this is not Wisconsin's greatest team, but even the Badgers at 60% should be enough to handle the Hoosiers.

Obviously, the Big Ten got screwed by having the best two teams from the same division (Ohio State, Penn State) ineligible in the same year. That's why I favor a cross-over system where a second-place team from the other division has a chance to earn a spot in the title game if certain conditions are met.

Why not Marquise Lee of USC for the Heisman? Was looking at some highlights and numbers last night and it's hard to find anyone in the FBS who has had a more dynamic season at a skill position.

You do know that he's black, correct?

Mark is totally behind black players succeeding in instinctive roles. It's the thinking positions that don't work so well.

A lot of black players have won the Heisman. What's your point?

Wisconsin may have looked unnaturally healthy in the last few weeks, playing dogs like Illinois, Minnesota and Purdue before grinding to a halt against Michigan State. Losing its one capable quarterback for the rest of the season won't help matters. If the Badgers win, it will all be on Montee Ball and James White's shoulders -- Indiana's rush defense is 104th in the country and it's not as though Danny O'Brien is showing any signs of life. Indiana needs to score early and pretty much go all-out to stop the run, but that's a far from outlandish scenario in the melting pot of slightly-above-averageness that is the B1G.

Tomorrow could be final game for college football's winningest coach -- and Boom's favorite coach -- St. John's John Gagliardi. They're not going to the playoffs so Saturday's it. He's 86. 489 victories.

Was he the one at the Super Bowl asking Doug Williams how long had he been a black quarterback?

I imagine the Indiana kids & coaches feel they have a pretty good chance of winning.

But other than that, no, no one else on the planet thinks IU can win this game....

Indiana's first six possessions: punt, punt, punt, punt, fumble, punt
The offense finally shows up late in the second and Wisco just marches right down and answers. 24-7 Badgers at half.
So much for IU's third B1G title in 115 years.
