For sure. Happened the next week, too.

By no means do I think Notre Dame is "awesome" this season. Too many 16-14 clunkers against Boston College or 24-17 against Wake. But I think that people severely overrated South Florida after that game.

Notre Dame has underachieved for so long.
It's not quite inexplicable to lose to USF in a game USF was obviously holding in a higher regard.
ND is still ND, and just as Alabama was so-so for 16 years, ND will be back. But not with Kelly. He is average, at best.
ND has a good football team, and should never have lost two of the games they've lost this season. (USF/Michigan)

He might be able to get them to a consistent 8-4/9-3, though. Which would be big in hiring the next guy. I think they've got to win at that level, at some point, for a five to six year span without the bottom falling out just to prove that there is potential there.

I didn't say Houston should be in the title game. I was saying that the Cougars aren't some Sun Belt or MAC team and on most days would give the top teams a good game and would have a puncher's chance of beating any of them. Now, do you want to discuss the 10-15 posts of sucking Notre Dame cock that you deleted on that thread a few months back.

I agree with your take on Houston. I'm not saying they should be No. 1, but I think they could be dangerous in a BCS bowl.

If you look out your window you can see his hard-on. That's a special brand of crazy. Of course, Notre Dame would just get revenge by beating USF in the rematch in Tam...ohh that's right, they wouldn't agree to a home and home.

    Don't recall anything like that.

They are somewhere between Boise State and the Hawaii team that got absolutely embarrassed in the Sugar Bowl. I think they are probably better than Hawaii, but not as good as Boise.

By the time Boise got into the picture of playing in BCS bowls, they had some sustained success that I presume help them recruit better depth in their program. I doubt seriously if UH is deep enough to compete in a BCS bowl the way Boise can because they are a Johnny-come-lately team. Their results without Keenum last year sort of tell that story (I can't imagine Boise dropping off the map like that if Moore missed a season).

But at the same time, I get the impression they are a little better than that Hawaii team was. And I think Conference USA is a better top-to-bottom conference.

Oh, come on. A newbie comes asking for advice on one thread, then starts MF-ing everyone on another? That deserves to get him some shit.

    Also, "as usual"?

I am not sure we have ever interacted.

Pleased to make your acquaintance, though.
