No, he's not. But he's one of those fun college quarterbacks who always seems to make a big play when his team needs it.

Update on Syracuse injured player taken to hospital:

"We're told his vital signs are stable, so that's good news."

I HATE that. "Stable" is not a real update. I hate it when reporters take that for an answer.

It doesn't get more stable than death.

Nebraska should really try holding on to the football. All the cool kids are doing it these days.

Look at the defense he was facing. Syracuse ran all over NCSU in Raleigh earlier this season. With all due respect to Orange fans and supporters, if that's not disturbing, then what is?

A lot of that is privacy rules and any more information than that can't be given out.

Understand the frustration, but this boils down to HIPAA.

I understand. But "stable" is non-information. And saying "it's good news" is a guess.

There's nothing wrong with "due to privacy issues, we will not have an update until the family announces it" or whatever.

True, NC State's defense is suspect. But I don't know that I've gotten to see a game where a guy ran for more than 300 yards, high school, college, NFL, CFL, anything, live or on TV. So it was fun to watch. Guy had 295 the previous week and, barring injury, is a lock to run for 2,000 for the season.

I know it's only the Ivies, but Harvard-Penn was amazing today. Harvard led 38-0 after three minutes of the third quarter, then Penn scored 30 straight, including two two-point conversions. They got the ball back deep in their half with about two and a half minutes left and no timeouts. Converted four (!!!) fourth downs to get down to the Harvard 20 or so, but couldn't convert the fifth time.

Good win for WAZZU at Arizona, 24-17. Halliday played probably his best game yet, in that he didn't force things. Air Raid finally had some running for the first time since the Auburn season opener and the defense kept Carey relatively in check. I'll take it.
Kudos also to that UCLA freshman linebacker/RB last night. That guy is the real deal.

You wonder how those games against Stanford and Oregon might have gone had Mora used Jack in those games before unleashing him last week at Arizona.

If they win the next two weeks, we'll get an idea in the Pac-12 title game.

Entertaining game in Durham. Back and forth and Duke up on Miami 31-30 late third.
