Sure, if the coaches and media decide to drop Alabama out of the top five simply to avoid a rematch. The coaches won't do that. Not many media members will do that, either. None should. If Alabama wins, it's in. LSU may be in even if it loses to Georgia.

Petrino wanted Les to take a knee?

I'm sure if Petrino were up by 21, he wouldn't be trying to run up the score. No, he certainly wouldn't do a thing like that.

    Tool.

Watching with no sound, but if Miles really ran it up on Petrino, I think I like him even more now.

Not only can Miles recruit football players, but that trooper with him post-game looked like he could start in the NFL.

I'd say LSU guaranteed itself a spot in the NCG today absent a total no-show (like, 24-point loss) in the SEC championship. At worst they will be 12-1 with wins over Alabama, Oregon and Arkansas, and their only loss would be to another team in the top 10. That kicks the crap out of Okie State's or VaTech's or Stanford's resume.

I'm not sure they've invented the score LSU could lose by to knock it out of the BCS title game at this point.

Even Cumberland College thinks you might be right.

Is LSU the best college football team ever (based on "level of competition" resume)?

Yes, because everything that happened within a week of today is automatically the BEST EVER.

Are we going to see more teams turn to power run?
