Clemson has the rare chance to face a fellow bubble dweller in a late non-conference game. If the Tigers soundly beat Cocky, they'll at least have an argument, though that would really be their only impressive win. They didn't beat any ACC team with a winning conference record and only played one, losing to Louisville. Clemson would need a ton of chaos to have an argument.

Indiana opens -25.5 at home vs. the atrocious Boilers. I was expecting closer to 30. If you think IU is still live for the playoff, then you gotta bet on Cignetti running it up.

If the SEC only gets Texas, Tennessee and Georgia in, they really can't complain. I'd give the ACC a second bid.

Oregon, Ohio State, Indiana, Penn State
    Texas Tennessee and Georgia
    Notre Dame
Two of Miami, SMU and Clemson
    Boise

Why a four-year-old child could understand this report. Run out and find me a four-year-old child. I can't make heads or tails out of it.

Maybe because things have been so hectic at work I haven't been paying attention or because both teams leave a lot to be desired, but I can't recall less excitement over the Big Game ever.

The ESPN projected bracket also had SMU in as a No. 9 seed.

I don't think Tennessee is any better than 60/40 to win Saturday. If they lose, there will be a few three-loss SEC teams hoping, but none deserving.

Based on what we think we now know, this works.

But we still have two more weeks. Stay Tuned ...

It was Colt McCoy (Longhorns, Cardinals). He is awful. Still called all of the coaches "Coach Riley" or "Coach Foster" or "Coach Lynn" or "Coach Bieniemy." It was like he is still in awe of them, or he lapsed into his 16-year-0ld self. The play-by-play guy I have never heard of and he was equally bad. I can say that I haven't watched many games on NBC, never seen this duo.
