No they have stands on both sides. The home sideline is significantly bigger and everyone sits there.

EDIT: Sorry I just saw what you’re talking about. I forgot they did an upgrade of that area. I’ve driven by it a bunch but it didn’t register.

The athletics building butts up to the visitor’s sideline. I think that’s premium hospitality seating now. It used to be bleachers.

I wouldn't know where to find it, but I wonder if the coaching situation in the UGA-GA Tech game has happened before ... two coaches coaching their alma maters, who played against one another on those teams in college.

I do realize it's happened the last two seasons since Georgia Tech hired Key.

GT’s QB King is more composed than UGA’s Beck.

How did GT lose 4 games?

Obviously a lot of football left, but Georgia might be in trouble here.

    A helluva engineer indeed.

Just need this bubble gum and baling wire secondary to hold up.

Anybody want to show the math that says UGA needed to go for two there?

    Vintage Kirk Ferentz football tonight:

Iowa had all of 20 yards of offense in the first half, trails Nebraska 10-0.

The Hawkeyes get a huge break and recover a muffed punt at the Nebraska 4 yard line midway through the third quarter.

Two handoffs against a stacked defensive front (Iowa is playing a former scout team linebacker at QB). Dump off to the tight end that goes nowhere. Field goal, and it’s 10-3.

Three kicks — or two FGs and a safety — from victory,

Refs get the memo, and a bogus pass interference penalty gives Georgia a TD. They're dead without it.

Official five feet away, in position with a perfect view, doesn't throw a flag. But the guy 10 yards away somehow had a better view.

That’s a big conspiracy since those are almost certainly ACC officials.

Tech has outplayed them all night but is down to the piccolo section for a secondary. Need a scoring drive here or else.

    An ACC crew in Athens?

    Either way, horrible call.

Road team’s conference supplies the refs is bog standard by now, especially in an ongoing rivalry.

Oh, man. Georgia's going to win because the player of the game fumbled. Yikes.
