Translation: Only Urban Meyer would make the school eat a $15M buyout of Herman.

This particular cut starts about 30 seconds into the play. About a second or two before this video begins, there was a lateral that was at least a yard forward.

    EDIT: Here's the full play.

Butch Jones, last seen smoking a cigar and carrying Saban’s bag, has been hired at Arkansas State. Major Applewhite is reportedly coming on hot as OC.

Jones replaces Blake Anderson, who seems to have left for Utah State, even though I’m not sure if it was ever announced.

Anderson heads into a shitshow as Utah State players elected not to play the final game of the season as the university president made disparaging remarks about the interim’s coach religion.

Curiously, the interim coach is Mormon. In Utah. And this was a problem?!?!? Anyway, Anderson has a mixed bag of a record at Arkansas State and covered up both his positive covid test along with those from multiple players. He also threw his staff under the bus for various team issues this past season.

Often when a person is described as a member of the Church of the Latter Day Saints rather than Mormon, they belong to the sect that still practices polygamy. I don't know if that's true here.

Is it possible that the university just found out he's got a couple of wives or more?

I could be wrong, but I thought I'd read here that USU was as close as it got to a secular state institution in Utah?

The "Fundamentalist Church of Latter Day Saints" is the Warren Jeffs polygamy cult.

The Church of Latter Day Saints is the proper name for the Mormon religion. Church members prefer that or "LDS" to the term Mormon.

I believe the Mormon church has tried to ditch Mormon for church of blah blah blah.
I think it was Brett McMurphy who reported the presidents reasoning was getting another Mormon coach in a Mormon state doesn’t differentiate them from the state’s other schools. And that a non Mormon would be a recruiting advantage in getting non Mormons on the football team.
The issue would be is Anderson is a devout baptist and of the flavor that considers Mormons a cult with its members going to hell.
    So enjoy Utah, I guess.
