It was the Tigers turn to dance in the swamp.

A loose piece of LSU footwear inexplicably tossed 20 yards by a Gator set up the game winning field goal in a season where the Tigers search for hero came from an unlikely source.

Yep, Neuheisel and Carroll forced the Pac to change the rule, which became obsolete when people started getting color TVs.

I stole this from someone else, but I went with "L-S-SHOE!"

    Could also go with:
"Who throws a shoe!? Marco Wilson"
    "Cleaters never win"
    "Footwear fling flummoxes Florida"

    Wenders and tapintoamerica like this.

Why did LSU/Florida run an hour past its allotted time?

Don't forget about the infamous Jets-Bills Thursday night Color Rush game a few years ago. Color blind people all over the country were apoplectic.

You also don't want to wind up with something like Texas and Oklahoma State both wearing orange when they play each other, or Alabama and Georgia both wearing their red home jerseys. That's a nightmare for everyone to sort out, quarterbacks included. I think that's more what the traditional white/dark rule is intended to sort out. When you have enough of a contrast like USC and UCLA have, or Georgia and Florida, it's less of an issue.

Josh Moon is wired in with some of the big Auburn boosters. It's always fun around here when 'Bama is up and AU isn't. His Twitter feed has been entertaining.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that North Carolina had a dude rush for 308 yards, another dude rush for 236 yards and a quarterback throw for 223...in the same damn game. Usually if a guy rushes for 300 yards, there aren't enough carries for anyone else to do much...much less rush for 236 yards!

Even Akron, playing the No. 1 rushing offense in Buffalo, didn't get gashed that badly Saturday (The Zip gave up 429 yards in a spirited effort despite losing 56-7).
