Texas isn't good enough to go undefeated.

I might take it over anything from Southern Cal.

I disagree. I'm not saying the Longhorns will go undefeated. But they are good enough to do it. Unless Landry Jones gets hurt before the Red River Shootout. Blake Bell is too hot to handle.

The top sign Colorado was going to suck: a quarterback Kansas didn't want is the starter.

Again, fair enough but it has been what, almost a decade since that happened? I'm just tired of it is all. And Fight On has 13 national titles and 7 Heisman Trophies (well, 12 and 6 if you count the NCAA's sanctions).

The Oklahoma game should be exciting, but I'm looking forward to them playing West By God and TCU.

I think West Virginia is better than Landry Jones-led Oklahoma. But the Mountaineers and Horned Frogs both visit Austin.

    2005.

And it doesn't matter how the brain surgeons fall -- how this game played out. The play calling. The sheer arrogance of not kicking a field goal in a tie game and going for it on fourth down. It's awesome to watch. And they're virtually toast for Miami. Struggling against a pathetic Syracuse team should have been a tip-off. As a SoCal native who grew up around the arrogance of USC football and UCLA basketball -- I chose the latter, thus the latter's football -- watching this is nice. Very, very nice.

"No one is going to class tomorrow morning at Stanford" ~ Erin Andrews in the post-game show

Tomorrow is Sunday. People don't have class on Sunday.

Question is, do they hold Fresno under 70? Currently 69-14.

In other news, mush-mouth Lou Holtz extends his fangeezer legacy by saying
"our defense" tonight while talking about the Sacred Boys from Touchdown Jesus.
