They were up 18 at the half. The ghosts of The Fifth Down and the Nebraska Kick would rise up once more.

Credit to Missouri. I was convinced they would gag it up today but, you can't spell Georgia without G-A-G.

I love Mark. He brings so much joy.

That would have been so Old Mizzou to miss a PAT that keeps it at eight, let UGA tie it and lose in overtime.

I don't know what they can do without Franklin, but the East is there for the taking. And after last year ... holy crap.

Georgia's offensive line played one of the worst games I can remember from an elite team at home. Then again, in its current state of injury, Georgia isn't an elite team.

That has frankly been coming for Georgia. A horribly banged-up offense and a sieve-like defense. Suffice to say the buzz around Todd Grantham is utterly gone.

Yeah, I knew the reimagining of Georgia as a MAC-quality team would ensue. Anyhoo, classic Mizzou defense under Steckel: sell out for big plays, and yardage is beside the point. Mauk's stint was encouraging, but all the same, hope Franklin can return. Frankly, am more concerned about South Carolina than Florida

Looks like the injuries to key players on offense may have final caught up with Georgia.

Meanwhile...... Clemson's first five possessions against Boston College: missed 25 yd FG, punt, fumble, muffed snap on FG attempt for a loss, fumble. BC leads 7-0 middle of the second.

With time running down in the first half, and facing a 4th-and-5 from the opponents' 35-yard line, Florida just had the QB pooch kick and it was downed at the 1. I don't know why more teams don't do this. I've always loved this play. Elway was great at it.

Gawd they're so arrogant, but it's fun to watch Oregon.
