South Carolina looks like an 18-wheeler ... that some filled up with unleaded.

Texas A&M is about to see its bid for an SEC West championship fizzle in its first year in the league. I bet the Cadets are ready to fall on their swords.

For the most part, I was pretty impressed with Purdue, albeit against an injury-plagued Ohio State. The Boilermakers have difficulty closing games out, but this one in particular is a kick in the sac.

    Still under-impressed by the Tigahs.

You and every LSU fan on the planet.
The defense is still top-notch and will keep them in every game.
The offense is a one-dimensional dumpster fire. It'll surprise me if they manage to get more than 100 yards and five first downs against Alabama.

MSU's helmets today appear to be made of the same material used to make christmas tree ornaments.

I heard the Mettenberger kid getting a lot of hype this summer. Haven't seen much that warrants it but if the A&M game is any indication, he's on a restricted diet.

Ohio State was incredibly fortunate to win this game. Purdue played very, very well....but tOSU was REALLY bad. Worse yet, Miller got the living sh*t knocked out of him...carted off to the locker room....and eventually taken to the hospital by ambulance. Doesn't look good, at all.

Having said all that, even as an avowed fanboi, very impressed with what Meyer has done with this team. This was a 6-7 team last year, that graduated their entire offensive line. They have something like 29 kids on the 2 deep, who are frosh or sophs. They're racking up injuries to the limited upperclassmen, at a really scary rate. Yet they're 8-0. Bye week can't get here soon enough, though....
