College football Week 9 thread

For those of you who get ESPNU and agree with the above post, stay away from the Duke-Florida State game in Tallahassee. The halfwits will be decked out in black uniforms.

 

If the Georgia guy doesn't do the taunting dance, it's a hell of a call by Richt to have his players do that. Hell, it's a hell of a call anyway.

EDIT: Especially now that Florida's starting on its 33. No real harm done.

I second Big Red, as an Iowa fan (Division III Wartburg fanboy) that this isn't a vintage Hawk team. Minny and Western should be winnable, but I'm scared to fucking death of Northwestern.

You know what? They're having fun, and that's why I love it. Look at the coaches. Look at the players. Both teams are really into this game.

Florida answers right back. Looked like the Bulldogs defender had the better angle on the ball and just watched it drop in for a TD.

 

I agree with the spirit of the call, but giving Florida a short field is never a good idea. Like they just showed, the Gators can eat up yards in a hurry.

But with the personal foul, it is all moot anyway.

It was a great call, Ty, regardless of the ensuing TD. Dawgs have to go the extra mile to win this one -- Richt is doing his part.
