I agree with hoops. This is college football.

I have to go with Hoops also. Originally, after hearing Georgia would be kicking from its 7.5, I hated the call. But seeing how the Dawgs have kept that emotion going speaks volumes for the call.

The first drive and the celebration had to be done to let Florida know Georgia wasn't just going to get walked over again.

big drive by the gators. that drive's going to be the difference in the game.

If UM or FSU did this stunt after a TD, 90% of this board would say "same old 'Canes/Noles.

If Florida wins, Richt's critics will say it was stupid, but who's to say Georgia would have even given Florida a game without his ploy firing up his players?

But since it resulted in a kickoff from the 8, a short field for Florida, and a TD, it was a wash on the scoreboard. I think the two teams have long since settled down to play football. And maybe it did do something to fire Georgia up, but if you need a cheap, high school stunt like that to get emotionally into a game against your traditional rival, you're brain-dead to begin with.

And Tebow goes in ... TD 28-24 Dawgs.

Because those programs have more of a history of showing their ass to the world, maybe?

Then maybe Richt saw that they were brain-dead to begin with, hondo.

Of course, let it be remembered where Richt cut his coaching teeth - FSU.

Actually, Florida got it at its own 32. Not quite a short field.

I stepped out at halftime to get something to eat, and traffic was unbelievably bad. How did Georgia get to 28? Recap, anyone?
