I was wondering what Brad Fullmer was up to since he left the Angels.

Good enough for me, for now.

Sad point is, I was that media guy. And now I don't trust the media again.

You play-by-play geeks should have been following the Weber State-Portland State game.

    1,189 offensive yards.

141 total points. 73-68 final score.

    Two suicidal defensive coordinators.

AP guy who wrote the gamer obviously didn't see Boise St. a few weeks ago.

"The previous record for most points by two teams was 136, set in 1968 when North Park beat North Central 104-32 in a Division III game. The Division I record was 133, set in 2004 when San Jose State beat Rice 70-63."

Umm...no. That Boise State score was 69-67.

The Boise State score was in four OTs. I think he's talking about in regulation. i could so be wrong though.

Annoyance of the day: I'm watching Cocky-Smokey and the ESPN score crawl, for some reason, tells me every few minutes that South Carolina and Tennessee are tied at 24 and that game is on ESPN.

Well, duh. That's the game and channel I'm watching.

The four-letter clearly chairs the Redundancy Department of Redundancy.

    More fun from the game:

    No overtimes.

17 (yes, just 17) rushing yards from Portland State.

13 passing touchdowns, nine from PSU's first-time starter to beat Neil Lomax's school record.

159 total plays run. 57 first downs.

    ZERO AP photos.

Pretty sure he was making fun of himself when he said it, and even Blackledge laughed.

  12. Dude, you're fine 90 percent of the time, and then you have these out-of-the-blue moments where your idealism becomes standoffish and misplaced.
