College football Week 9 thread

    if either of those teams come out of the pac 10, there's no sneaking about it. the pac 10 is good. you win that conference, even with a loss, and you deserve a shot

    Oregon at home should be about a five point favorite, maybe six.

    Regardless, there will be two very good offenses on the field.

    Well, I picked (shamefully) against Oregon and ASU this week, and it burnt me.

    But I still haven't seen ASU play a full game.

    Why would you weep for college football this season on the basis of polls? The bottom line is that have been more good games than any time I can remember, and I've been doing college games for 26 years.

    i can't believe i'm about to utter these words, but i agree with hondo

    every game seems to have a chance to be special -- even the fifth-best team in the southern conference playing at a team from the big, bad big 10

    It's alright. I already deconstructed that argument for him. Although he's still welcome to advocate ranking New Mexico ahead of Tennessee.
