if either of those teams come out of the pac 10, there's no sneaking about it. the pac 10 is good. you win that conference, even with a loss, and you deserve a shot

I have to take Oregon in that one, but I'll be honest. I havent seen anything but highlights of ASU, so I have no idea just how good they are.

But I've watched several Ducks games, and they can play.

Oregon at home should be about a five point favorite, maybe six.

Regardless, there will be two very good offenses on the field.

Well, I picked (shamefully) against Oregon and ASU this week, and it burnt me.

But I still haven't seen ASU play a full game.

The SEC currently has three three-loss teams in the top 25. That is bullshit of the highest order. I don't give a fuck if teams beat up on each other every week in the SEC. If you have THREE losses through eight or nine games, you have no business being ranked.

The weird thing about this year is that you've got all kinds of overrated teams ... because there's pretty much four or five really good teams and then about forty of fifty interchangable ones.

Why would you weep for college football this season on the basis of polls? The bottom line is that have been more good games than any time I can remember, and I've been doing college games for 26 years.

It's alright. I already deconstructed that argument for him. Although he's still welcome to advocate ranking New Mexico ahead of Tennessee.
